Hello Traci, Try the following which should enable you to have Voiceover come through your iPhone rather than your Anker speaker.
Firstly, turn the speaker off if it is is not already off. On your iPhone go to Settings and Bluetooth. Locate your Anker speaker but do not double-tap it. Instead flick up to More Info. Double tap this. If you swipe through the screen you should find a Device Type button. Double tap this. You should now have a list of device types you can select. Choose Speaker and double-tap to select. You can now press Back and exit Settings, turn on your speaker and Voiceover should come through your iPhone.
