If you are running anything later then Mojave, it’s now found through the Sidebar in Finder. Once you connect the iPhone, open a Finder window and navigate to the Sidebar. Interact and it will be down further in the list. Also note that there will be dialogs to ask you to “trust” your computer and the phone on both devices you must acknowledge before the iPhone will load and show in Finder.
