My own personal advice? Get the iPhone and then save up for a Mac Air. The best of the Apple experience.--Joe

I recently got an iPad to use for work, and at first, I wondered if it was really necessary because of the similarities to the iPhone, but I see advantages to having both. First, I think it somewhat easier to navigate while in an app or when going from one app to another on the iPad because of the larger screen. I also think that it's far easier to post to Facebook and Twitter and to read posts on the iPad. Finally, I think the sound quality is better. Again, this is an individual decision, and there are no right or wrong answers here, just one's personal preferences.
