The problem is that when she touches the bottom of the screen to get to the home screen, she doesn’t here any sound to let her know that she can slide up to the home or app switcher. She turned that off because she had an iPhone 8 which had a home button. When she restored from a backup when they set up her iPhone 12 Pro max, that option is still turned off. I can not remember the name of that sound and can not turn it back on for her. We’ve looked in accessibility, VoiceOver, where there is a “more” button which describes the gestures, but it doesn’t mention the sounds.
