Well, the app would have to interface with some type of hardware device that
would connect via bluetooth. i haven't heard of such a device, but that
doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

Don’t know of any accessible thermometer aps. However, I just happened
on a talking infrared thermometer that appears to be quite accurate. It’s easy
to use and hae been able to get the same temperature reading several
consecutive times. Got it from guidelights and gadgets.
