The iPhone camera and the apps are no good at accurate color ID. Too much variation in lighting. If you could insure absolutely the same lighting each time, you could learn what a given app calls what color. TapTapSee does an OK job, but I would not count on any app if I were dressing for an event where I really cared about matching. Call a friend over Facetime, or try Aira or Be My Eyes so you have someone looking at it; but no computer has gotten to the point yet of matching the human eye and brain for color distingtion.
