Hi, I have a problem with Voice Dream Reader on my mini IPad five since the last update of IOS and the VDR app. I usually make sure everything is working before I update something else, but, of course, I was in a hurry and updated IOS first and then my apps shortly after that without at least checking those apps which I use every day. All of my other apps are working fine, but VDR is broken! Below is a list of things that are happening.
1. Whenever I try to open VDR, it goes to my home screen. It shows up in the app switcher, but I get the same result when I try to open it from there as well. It simply will not allow me access. 2. When VDR appears to be running, my app switcher will not switch from one app to another with the four-finger side swipe. It goes directly to my home screen instead. 3. If I have several apps running in the app switcher, including VDR, when I close one, VDR just vanishes as if it wasn't ever there and at that point my app switcher will work properly with the other apps. 4. If I open IOS settings, go into VDR settings, it seems as though it is functioning as far as accessing the settings in the IOS settings. However, if I close IOS settings, when I reopen it, instead of opening up the last setting I was checking, as it has always done, it won't open VDR settings, but opens the previous one I was checking instead. Anyone have any suggestions? I've tried looking at every setting I can think of, opening and closing other apps so the app switcher is completely empty, turning the mini IPad off and on and nothing fixes it.
