Subject: Article from 9 to 5 Mac concerning 300 changes coming to iOS 15, this
is a publicly distributed article

I’m going to copy the accessibility tidbit here, but the link to the full
article is below. Note that on the full article, there are links to specific
sections of their video.
Accessibility
As always, the newest version of iOS features a sizable helping of
accessibility improvements, but I was particularly impressed with this year’s
array of enhancements. For the first time on iPhone, it’s now possible to set
per-app accessibility settings. For example, if Smart Invert makes it easier to
use a specific app, but you don’t want to invert the entirety of iOS, you can
permanently enable Smart Invert on a single app of your choice.

There’s also a new background sounds option in Accessibility that will play
soothing dark noise, ocean, stream, or rain sounds to help mask unwanted
environmental noise. Users can even choose to mix background sounds with other
audio or system sounds.
•
•
New sound actions for Switch Control lets users with physical impairments
control iPhone with only their voice, instead of needing to use dedicated
buttons, switches, or overly complex voice commands. A new sound panel in
Switch Control preferences lets users control iPhone with click, cluck, pop,
“ee” sounds and more.

• Comment from me, It will be interesting if switches will be usable with
VoiceOver in iOS 15. Visually impaired people who also have severe motor
impairments or speech impairments have been out of luck before.
