I’m wanting to try the RSS app News Wire since it was recommended to me, in place of Lire; the newest version of Lire is very expensive! But either I don’t know how to set it up right,but it’s not notifying me when new feeds are available; nor is it telling me as in other aps when focusing on them, how many items (in this case RSS articles) are available. The way I knew that 3 articles were available to read was that I decided to double-press he app, double-tapped where it says “First Read” and that’s how I knew of this fact. Also when double-tapping on an article, the reader isn’t activated automatically; I need to activate it by double-tapping the associated button. If it helps in working how to set it up right, I logged into “The Old Reader” account thorugh the News Wire app, which I’ve got set up with feeds when using Lire. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong?
