Hi sorry but you are not correct. Anything which is placed in the
camera's roll can be accessed from Windows explorer. I just connected my
jailbroken iPhone and my non-jailbroken iPod to make sure it wasn't a
jailbreak thing and they are both seen. Inside the camera roll are
photos of course, but also movies. So, yes, you can get them off without
using iTunes.
