I mostly use Google Maps to get directions for sighted drivers. I get the normal navigation directions from the female voice that Google Maps uses. But I also get much too frequent additional guidance for the next turn from my VoiceOver / Siri male voice. I have checked, and the setting in Google Maps for detailed navigation directions while walking is turned off.
I think I remember turning something on some time ago, but i can't remember what is was. And I can't find any other setting to turn off. I appreciate any thoughts what I can turn off to stop the extra speech from the VoiceOver / Siri voice. Rob -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
