Hi again, Richard, I tried your suggestion with no results. What happens is that the TV video I'm listening to plays on the locked screen for about two minutes. Tapping the home screen does nothing at all, and unlocking the screen doesn't even show that the video's been playing until I completely unlock the phone. On the new phone, it plays just fine, but on my iPhone 6, I just have to play it without locking the screen at all, which is too bad, because I think that really does conserve battery life.
