the iPhone may have an FM chip, but Apple has never enabled it, so no, you cannot listen that way. However, there are a lot of apps that give access to local radio. If the station has no internet presence at all; then they probably will not be on any of the apps. Is there a particular station you are trying to find? I have severl apps and could easily check if you gave the city, state, and call letters for the one, or ones you want.
