And lastly, if you are only using Dropbox for free then usage is limited to 3 devices. Even if you don't have 3 devices there is a chance old devices are still listed on your account, you have to log in t Dropbox online and find this so you can see if any devices are listed you don't use or even own any more. If so you can delete them.
