I like your idea and will save it for future use. What I did was turn on
slide to type in the rotor and then switch to it and turn it off. Then I
took it back out of the rotor. I will go in to keyboard and have a look
around now and see what else is there. Thanks for the help. It is
appreciated.

You want settings, general, keyboard.
Turn off predictive and slide to type. I also turn off smart punctuation
because when searching in certain places like Bard, titles with apostrophes
don't get found.
