Ever since I got the device back in June, I've noticed two odd behaviors
about VoiceOver which I can't explain which hopefully you can.
1. The VoiceOver voice, no matter which one it is, is always low, lower
than any other audio the phone can produce. This includes phone calls,
FaceTime, Zoom, media playback such as Music, Web content, etc. It's this
way on both the built-in speakers and headphone output.
2. When the VoiceOver voice begins speaking, it ramps up in volume from
something ridiculously low up to a higher level over the course of about
three syllables.
All of the above is quite annoying when I ask Siri a question, the Siri
voice speaks loudly, then the VoiceOver voice comes on, ramps up in
volume over the course of a few syllables, but it's never half as loud
as the Siri voice. This tells me I've got some level-limiting setting
turned on which I can't find. Any ideas welcome and gratefully received.
