I was told that the reason the battery prompt keeps showing is that once you 
actually let the battery go down completely it really does take a while for it 
to recharge. As for the USB cable a lot of people seem to be complaining about 
that but I really have had very little problem with it.   I find that I have 
learned how to slide the USB cable in and probe with the edge to find where to 
slide it in.  You kind of have to hold on at the end of the actual USB plug or 
even a little further up on the cord in order to guide it in correctly.  It 
might be harder for people with larger hands than I have but I don't actually 
try to extend my finger in to feel where to put the USB plug.  At any rate, 
experimenting with it a little bit seems to make it easier to use.
