I understood it doesn't show up in Bluetooth, but it shouldn't show up in braille either if Bluetooth is off. So I'm hoping that will clear out the memory of that device. I guess the next thing would be to try just reseting network settings. You may still want to try Apple Accessibility, maybe you will get someone a little more willing to dig into the issue.
