I checked my iPhone 6S, and yes, the update was done. The same happened with contacts. First I updated the contacts in the SE using the Mac, and when I tried to update the contacts in the 6S, the contacts were already updated. Perhaps all this happened through iCloud. I’m just guessing. Thanks for your answers. I don't use a Mac but a two for one update would seem to violate computer logic in my opinion. You can check the version of your 6S by going to Settings, General, Software update and seeing what version is there.
