I use Tom and have noticed some odd pronouncing of words, “jim” is pronounced “gim” headache is all kinds of weird, I can’t even begdint o try and type it, that’s how weird it is, and there are others.

I used Alex for a couple of years on my iphone, but I noticed that at times it mispronounced some words, at other times I wasn’t able to understand it because the pronunciation, although close to an accurate pronunciation, was unconventional. So, now I use Tom, which from my perspective, is more understandable. 70 percent is my speaking rate. I believe that the high quality thing has nothing to do with this, and instead of that, there might be other possible explanations beyond the simplistic and simplifying cliché of saying that this is a subjective matter. In my computer, for instance, I love to use the Eloquence voice in English as well. Some friends of mine that are native speakers were surprised that I use Eloquence at a very high rate speed, and still being able to understand it. Best, Leo Bado.
