Even my first iPhone 4 in 2010 supported LTE at least I am almost sure and definitely the 4S did in 2011. And it will be a very long time before 4G/LTE gives way to 5G by which I mean it will be a long time until only 5G is available although I have a feeling that maybe 4G will hang on for a shorter time than 3G has been hanging on at least here in North America, Europe and countries like Australia and New Zealand. Once 5G really kicks off and is available nation wide there will be no going back. But for now even that is not of much concern where Mich lives which is in northern Ontario if I am not mistaken, I am in Northern British Columbia and while 5G may be available in Vancouver, Toronto and other large cities, it sure is nowhere in sight yet here. I am running the i phone 8. I would check the issue of 3G going away. Does your phone support 4G? If so, you probably are fine sitting tight with what you have. If it only supports 3G, then check with your carrier as to when 3G support will stop. Otherwise, only upgrade when there are new features you want, or because of the battery life, etc. It is around $50 US to get a new battery in most iPhones... I have been thinking of upgrading for a while but am not shure witch phone I should upgrade to? Since beaing that I am blind I don't really cair that much about the camra and stuff except when it comes to doing things like ocr and stuff I just was wondering the groups thoughts? My phone is still running good and vo is still working as it should I just was wondering about the groups thoughts.
