Mich, either come down with one finger from the top to the first pop, which I did first, or go into Settings. I am thinking he was talking about coming down from the top with the first pop. That is, if you have a phone newer than 8, that is, 10 or later. I can't remember for sure how on the older phones.

When 15 launched wide spectrum audio mode is active by default. While in a face time call, open control center and at the top of the screen you'll see something about the mic. Double tap there and you'll be presented with two options, voice isolation and wide spectrum audio. This is under the main control center and not the face time options.
