I decided to call Apple Accessibility and got someone who was very helpful. He had me go to Settings, General, Keyboards, One-handed keyboard and turn it off. I guess this got turned on when I upgraded to iOS 14.8 the other day. I really wish Apple would not automatically change settings when they include something new like this. Turning it off returned my on screen keyboard to its former setting. Alan Lemly Hi List, Let me say right from the start that I'm running iOS 14.8 and have not upgraded to iOS 15. I'm not sure when I first noticed this on screen keyboard change but since the only thing I've done recently is to upgrade to iOS 14.8, I assume it is attributable to that. My question concerns a large vertical button now appearing to the right of my on screen keyboard. It appears to be about as tall as the entire keyboard and Voiceover reads it as Switch to default layout. Other than the presence of this large button that was not previously there, my on screen keyboard seems to have the same keys and layout as before I upgraded to iOS 14.8. Is anyone familiar with this large button and which default layout it will switch to if I execute it? Thanks in advance for your help.
