No, no problem with deleting characters, just replacing entire words or names
of apps with the word comma.

If you absolutely need to reset all settings, you can, but I discovered that
was like killing a fly with a sledge hammer.

If you are having the issue of VoiceOver saying Comma before each character
you delete, go to settings, Accessibility, Voiceover, Verbosity, and set
“deleting text’ to do nothing.

It will still speak the character you delete but it won’t add the word comma.

If you are determined to have to fix tons of settings with many many apps, go
to settings, general, Transfer or Reset iPhone, double tap, and go down to
Reset, double tap and then pick your poison.

Just don’t do Erase all content unless you really want to wipe out your
phone …

Where do I go to reset all settings? I assume this is a single change, not
changing them all separately.

I've seen others mention this problem since updating to IOS 15. They report
that resetting all settings resolves the problem. Note: Resetting all settings
just resets what is in the settings app not the entire phone. If you choose to
try this, good luck. Hope the solution works for you.

      Hi,

I apologize if this has all ready been asked, but since my update,
certain apps and other whole words are completely replaced by a comma or at
least the word comma. There is no particular pattern, it just does it. This
happens when arrowing down apps in settings, on the home screen and it's always
the same app, but no reason for doing it. Any ideas how to stop this?

      Thanks.

      Vicki
