>From the User Guide: Automatic LookAround modeThe Automatic LookAroundmode is on by default and works if you are moving or stationary. It searchesin all directions every 15 seconds or in your choice of several intervals up to 60 seconds, and it reportsthe nearest POI or intersection to you. In a dense area, it doesn't have to look very far. You can of coursesearch for all points of interest manually and can expand the search if nothing nearby is found.In addition to the nearest POI and intersection announcements, you will also get automaticannouncements to let you know whenyou have changed heading direction or changed streets if youhave set your speed in LookAround settings to under 5MPH.LookAround WandWhen standing still, the LookAround Wand allows you to find out a sampling of what is in the directionyou pointthe phone. For example, if you want to know what is to the right, point your phone to theright and the intersection and a sampling of points of interest will be announced.The LookAroundWand button is in the top right of the screen. You can toggle it off and on. When theLookAround Wand is turned on, you will hear a rising chime, the button will light up, andVoiceoverwillconfirm that the LookAround Wand is on. When the LookAround Wand is turned off, you will hear adescending chime, the button will turn gray andVoiceoverwill confirm that the LookAround Wand isoff. Remember that if you are moving and turn it on, no information will be given until you stop movingfor 15 seconds or so. Also if you switch screens, the LookAround wand will automatically turn off.

GoodMaps is only 6 digits off; but is off. Be sure and write them. Also I think the frequency of repeating location may refer to while staying still. The whole app is just Seeing Eye Gps with a new name and a couple features I think. Try setting the time to the default 15 seconds and see what happens.
