There used to be an email list called blind teachers. I do not know if it still
exists, or what happened to it. I remember that it was not very active,
probably no more than an average of one posting a day.

Hello everyone!
I was wondering if, by any means, someone knows something about any kind of
mailing lists for blind and visually impaired educators, teachers, instructors,
professors, etc. I was thinking about if such a mailing list would exist. What
I’m looking for is a mailing lists to share learning strategies, tips and
tricks, teaching models, techniques, educational policies, etc., and also
everything related to assistive technology from teachers and students’ points
of view. Discussion topics could be in the line of:

· Virtual classroom

· Tips and tricks to improve literacy with screen readers

· Language learning

· Metacognition

· Accessible online platforms for teachers

· UDL framework

· APA for blind teachers and students

And a long long etc

Any information will be highly appreciated!
Thank you.

Best,
Leo Bado
