Try turning off Bluetooth. Rebooting the phone. See if the keyboard appears in the next edit field you can get into.
Then, turn your Bluetooth back on. You need to always make sure if you are using a Bluetooth keyboard, be it braille or QWERTY that you exit QuickNav or make sure the keyboard is visible before you go back to using the onscreen keyboard. It seems to sometimes get stuck thinking a keyboard is in quicknav mode.
