I don't think you can make voice calls with a Sonos Roam; in fact while Alexa works well on any Sonos speaker, the ability to use the Alexa Intercom functionality or to make phone calls is blocked somehow. I don't know why this is, but unless something changed very recently it is not possible. Also, my Wanderboom 2 does not have a microphone, it is strictly a Bluetooth speaker.
