Functionality of the watch will also depend on the model and whether you include cellular. I have the Series six and do not regret paying the price for the extra line on my phone plan. One day I was out walking and forgot my phone. A call came in informing me of a death in the family and I needed to act immediately even though I was out walking. If I had not been able to answer the call on my watch independently of my phone and then follow up immediately from where I was standing I would have been out of luck. Merv
