I bought a lifetime subscription on Boxing Day last year. I have lost count how many times an update mentions new and exciting features but none have been added yet nor do we know what they are or when they will be implemented.
I’m not really aware of what has been improved since last year but who knows what will materialise next year. For my money and I own both Envision AI is the better app. Of course VoiceDream Scanner is outstanding but that goes for their other apps do, what they do they excel at.
