OK. I just was putting braille labels on some wine bottles. I decided to scan the labels to make sure I was getting the correct label on the correct bottle.
I used both Voice Dream Scanner and SuperSense. I never turn on my light in my office. There is a window behind me about 7 feet. I used the document mode with SuperSense and the default auto capture mode in Voice Dream Reader. SuperSense kept saying the lighting was insufficient for scanning make sure the camera is not blocked ... then it would proceed to give me directions on positioning the camera and take the picture. Voice Dream Scanner plays a tone that changes volume as you get more text in view, when it reaches it s loudest volume, the picture is taken. It took less than half the time to get a good scan with Voice Dream Scanner. The accuracy was equally good, but the ease of getting the scan with Voice Dream Scanner, again, gives my vote to Voice Dream hands down.
