The only thing I think Supersense does better than the others are the bar codes. I have to figure out whether reading bar codes is worth the subscription price, being that I have other apps that will do the other things Supersense does, some of them much better. I have yet to put out any money for it. If they offered me only the bar code reader for, say, half the price, I would go for that. Now, the built-in camera on iPhones recognizes tons of text on the fly plus QR codes on the TV, etc. It does have some bar codes that Seeing AI doesn’t have, and for me, that is the one area that keeps it in my toolbox. I would use it more if it wasn’t for that damn auto scanning it insists on doing instead of waiting until I am ready to scan. It does bar codes and things that pop up on your TV set very well.I like that it does on device scanning. This being said it was practically promised that column detection was coming in 2020. It is now the end of 2021 and we still don’t have this. I don’t believe Richard was the only one to ask for an option to not have it auto start. I also noticed that android didn’t have the option to request a call. This should’ve been added. Hoping Supersense improves in 2022.
