That was what I was afraid of. I’m not sure the name of the case. It was one
my husband happened to find while doing some online shopping. He went online
after the phone, in the previous otter box case I had it in, fell and the
previous screen protector spider-webbed and was completely useless. The Otter
Box case actually wound up being damaged from the fall too, which was very
surprising to me considering I’ve had Otter Box cases for the past twelve
years, regardless the type of phone I’ve had, and I’ve never seen an Otter Box
case do what this one did. My phone was spared thankfully, so the protector
and case did their respective jobs. However, I was very shocked given the less
than a foot distance the phone fell, and the severity of damage to both the
case as well as the glass screen protector.

I was afraid I’d have to take the glass screen protector off my phone. My
husband is not going to be a happy individual when I tell him this. He seems
to think I can just “press the screen harder,” and this will accommodate the
duel protection. He thinks because he can do it, I should be able to do it.
Thanks guys, I appreciate the advice. I figured I’d have to do what I don’t
want to do, but will end up going that route regardless.

Sincerely,

I think you will need to remove the glass protector.

What case is it?

There is nothing you can do to increase sensitivity other than making it so the
phone can sense your fingers.

Subject: Screen sensativity and cases with built-in screen protection
Importance: High

Hello everyone,

My husband, being the ever-minded, conscientious person that he is, bought me a
highly durable iPhone case with a built-in screen protector. I also already
have a tempered-glass screen protector on my iPhone 13 ProMax. After putting
it in the case this morning, no easy feet I must add as the case has a total of
six screws that need to be put into the case to ensure it keeps my iPhone safe
at all times, I noticed that using the screen is much more challenging with the
duel-layered protection of both the tempered-glass screen protector that was
installed, as well as the case’s built-in screen protector. So my question is
this. Does anyone know of any way to make screen sensitivity moreso, or ease
of usability with this type of case and an already-in-place screen protector?
Or am I simply going to have to remove the phone from its case, remove the
tempered glass protector, and hope that the build-tin screen protector in the
case does the job as advertised in making my phone about as close to
indestructible as one can realistically make it?

Sincerely,

Loreal Lavigna
