I'm not sure of the distinction you are making. If you are doing space+dot3 with the rotor on words, are you not using the Orbit to move the cursor?
If you are using any keyboard, qwerty or braille, the only way to move the cursor is with VoiceOver commands using the keyboard. I don’t think just using the arrow keys works when connected to the iPhone. Perhaps it should. A new build for the firmware is going into beta testing next week for the Orbit Reader 20 plus. This would be a good time to request any changes to the current functionality. You may also want to join the Orbit-reader groups.io list. Is there a way to move the cursor using the Orbit reader? Use the rotor commands, space+dots2,3 turn rotor counterclockwise. Space+dots5,6, turns the rotor clockwise. space+dot3 moves by whatever rotor choice to the left, and space+6 goes to the right. So, using word and character on the rotor will get You to the spot. Of course the lines option helps too when needing to move farther.
