Hi Esther, I'm not a fan of the default gesture to go home and to the app switcher on iPhones without a home button. I'm often not hearing the opening blip when starting the single finger slide from the bottom of the screen. I use the App switcher constantly so I went to Settings, Accessibility, VoiceOver, Commands, All commands and customized the four finger tap to open the App switcher. This just works much faster and consistently for me than the default gesture.
