Hi. Yesterday wasn't a good day for me, mainly due to my new phone not having the sim card preinstalled, and I thought I wouldn't have phone service for longer than I did. If that hadn't happened, it would have been a great day. I got my new iPhone 13 Pro Max up and running, and there was minimal problems with it. The one thing that didn't work as advertised was to transfer everything from my old phone to the new one. It should have worked without a hitch. All I had to do was enter the code from my new phone onto the old one. Problem was there was no keypad to do it, and my Bluetooth keyboard didn't work to do it, so that was out. Thankfully, the iCloud restore worked, so all's good. The only problem I've had with my new phone was it thought that Bluetooth devices were paired, so no on screen keyboard. I got that fixed by pairing my Bluetooth keyboard with it and turning it off.
There was one very pleasant surprise that happened, and that was getting my Apple Watch working with the new phone. During the iCloud restore, I was asked if I wanted my watch paired with my new phone. I said I wanted it to happen, and it did. I didn't have to pair the watch, it just happened, and it works great.
