There used to be native support both with IOS and Android several years back, however, after 2013, it appears that all native support for syncing your Facebook contacts to your mobile devices no longer exists no matter the platform you’re using. I’ve tried the third-party options too, but with no success. I’ve just had to contend with finding certain ones I want to add, manually add any/all info by hand, and go on about my day. It sucks, but I think this was a Facebook decision ultimately and not necessary an Apple or Android decision. Facebook even did away with a beloved feature for me some years back, the phonebook feature.

Good morning, I am trying to do something, but everything I’ve tried or googled doesn’t seem to work and always tells me the same thing. I’m wondering if I will be able to do it or if it will no longer work because I have a much later IOS version than 10. Even the very latest things I read on Google tell me almost the exact same thing, but I get no results from the get-go in looking at the settings app. I would like to sync my Facebook contacts with my iPhone contacts. I’d like to sync the photos and pertinent information for them. Everything I’ve googled tells me to make sure I’m logged into my Facebook app (which I am), go to settings, and under facebook, look for the “Update all Contacts” or something to that effect, once I have the app enabled to access contacts and calendars. Well, I have that option enabled, but I don’t see anything that tells me I can update the contacts. Then, it tells me that I can use a third party app as an alternative to also do what I want. But, the apps they mention are either outdated or don’t let me get far. It kept talking about one called Sync.me and another one called FaceSync, but that second one won’t work past IOS 10. I used to use a great one called GoSync. This isn’t a huge deal, I guess. I just remember being able to do this back in the day and wanted the ability to do it again. It’s been a couple of iPhones since I’ve done it.; Any ideas? Jim -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
