I, too, was unsuccessful raising the ringer volume using the volume up button
even though the corresponding setting is turned on. I suggest you go into
settings and adjust the ringer volume up more. When you change the volume in
settings, the phone will play the ring tone at the new volume. Even if you
then lower the volume back to the level it was at before, adjusting it in
settings may solve the problem.

Subject: Getting the ring tone volume louder on an iPhone X when the phone rings

Hi.

I gave my girlfriend an iPhone X. It works great, and when I call her number,
her iPhone rings. Problem is the ring tone volume is very low. I tried to have
her use the volume up button to increase the volume, but the tone stops when
she does that. What I don’t understand is when she goes into the sound
settings, the ring tone is at a great volume. How do I tell her to increase the
ring tone volume? I called Apple, and they finally recommended making a trip to
the Apple store.

Any ideas? I think this is a simple fix, but I don’t know what to do.

Have a blessed day and don’t work too hard.
