This is probably old news to everyone, but I just stumbled across something, and I'm so excited, I want to share. This is how clueless I am, but I was looking for a screen recording I'd just done, and not knowing where else to look, I brought up the camera app. While I was exploring the camera app, I heard it announcing things like no people, keyboard, ... I realized it was telling me what was on my desk! After playing around, I found out that if you move focus to the top to the view finder, the camera app will read text to you and identify objects. I ran downstairs to show my wife, and I heard it say "cat on a flat surface with a laptop and a glass with a beverage". I was pointing it at my kitchen table which had our cat on it, waiting to be fed, my wife's laptop and her glass of sparkling water! It's not going to replace the Seeing AI app for me yet, but it seemed awfully fast and accurate!
