Hi. I was using Alex as my voice, but switched to Eloquence. In both cases, 50% sounded the same rate wise.

Hi. I’m not one of those that has Voiceover speak very fast. I was happy with 50% speaking rate. When I upgraded to iOS 16, however, the speech is noticeably slower. I checked the rate, and it’s still at 50%. I increased it on the home screen to 55%, and it significantly got faster than what I’m used to on my phone. I think it will work, so I’m not that worried about it. I guess I could make a finer adjustment in Voiceover settings, so I might do that in the end.
