Yes, it would be nice if the maps could be downloaded but I suspect that

Unfortunately, this is the problem with using a server-based approach as

opposed to having the maps download it and locally stored. This is why I

wish that good Mabs had continued developing Nearby Explorer, which allowed

you to download maps and use them locally, as opposed to the old seeing a

Approach that always relied on a server.

Their server must currently be down.  This is not a ios 16 problem.  I get

the same thing running ios 15.

I’m running iOS 16.0.2 on an iPhone 13 Mini. Whenever I attempt to launch

the GoodMaps Outdoors app, I receive and error stating “Response from the

server is not as expected. Please retry.” I’ve retried a dozen times and

always get this same error. Is GoodMaps Outdoors still a functioning app and
