Hi. When I got my Series 7 Watch, I decided to get the cell feature. It was more a novelty thing for me, but it sure came in handy today. I was wearing my watch, and decided to take the garbage out. I was wearing clothes with no pockets in them, so I had no way to carry my phone with me. In the process of taking the garbage to the dumpster, I got disoriented, and was unsure where I was. Thankfully, I was able to make a call to the office and have them look for me.
Just goes to show these things come in handy. Another thing to consider is if you really need a cellular version. I have had both and for me it’s not worth it. I have my phone with me all the time, so having cellular on the watch is pretty much useless. That’s not to say if you want to be untethered from your phone, then the cellular might be worth it. But, remember if you put the service on your phone it’s going to be $10 to $20 a month plus taxes ..
