Yes, the BT version is great.  So, no combination of the function key and
some other key with the letter E will do what the space+e does on the BT
version?  That is too bad.
Most blue tooth keyboards made for the Apple devices have a designated
button to hide and unhide the virtual keyboard.

So, it sounds like someone with the QWERTY BrailleSense will be better off
having a separate blue tooth keyboard for entering text and issuing commands
and use the braille for output only.

I don't see a way to do this from the BSU2 qwerty. Best advice I can give is
to use the one on the virtual keyboard on the touch screen. If the virtual
keyboard is hidden, best of luck getting it  unhidden, as there is no touch
screen command for this and I don't think anyone knows of a command in
conjunction with the function key to accomplish this.
This is certainly not something that's ready for prime time. The BT version
works fine though. Sadly, who knows if it'll be fixed, since most of this is
something that will need to be resolved on Apple's end.
