I have learned that when I think I lose something with an update, to check
Settings. So, Paula, have you checked settings to see if Automatic Updates is
on? If it is, of course, then, you can turn it off, and end of problem.

Subject: turning off automatic updates

Hi all. I have always had my updates turned off, but since I updated to 16.03
all apps are updated automatically. I want to turn that off. In general, and
about, I turned off automatic updates, but my apps seem to update
automatically. Apparently that setting only applies to the software update.
How do I turn automatic app updates off? Probably pretty basic, but I can’t
figure it out. Thanks.

God bless!
