You could have a look at the facilities in Irig.

But for live work? shakey ground i reckon.
Even for recording purposes, I'd rather have external effects units, and use send and returns on a pre-amp mixer.

Some guitar effects apps are so entisingly priced, it's hard to resist what some of the music industry is using. Then of course there's accessibility.
