Paula, I suggest first try powering off your phone, then restarting it. I turned off my passcode to see if I could duplicate the behavior. On my iPhone 11, with six attempts of swiping up to unlock the phone, each time my phone unlocked properly placing me on the first page of apps. Donna    Hi everyone. I’m having a new issue since my 16.1 update. I do not have face ID or a passcode set up. I unlock my phone and swipe up to get to my home screen, but, in spite of the fact that I get the expected sounds, my phone stays stuck on the screen that gives the notifications, time, date, camera and flash light status. After swiping up a few times, locking my phone and unlocking it, I still can’t get to the home screen. This has happened twice since last night. Is this a bug or is it my phone being flakey? I haven’t yet done a re-set all settings. That’s the next thing I can think to try. Any thoughts? God bless! Paula and the pups God bless!
