That is interesting, I have the sleep focus set up and part of my settings
include an alarm at 7 AM. If I go to the Clock app there is a "change" button
next to the alarm which the sleep focus created as a recurring daily alarm.
If I tap on that I see the "early Riser" alarm tone which is the default and
below it is a volume slider to set the alarm volume.

When I tried by creating a manual alarm that volume option is not present. I
think it is silly not to allow people to set the alarm volume during the
creation of an alarm, you can select the tone and whether it repeats or not,
but you can't set the volume.

Hello Michelle,

The following article will provide the steps on how to change the native iOS
alarm clock volume.

In short, however, there is not a completely independent volume control for the
native alarm clock app.

How to adjust the volume of your alarm clock on iPhone By Sandy Writtenhouse
Updated April 21, 2022

Whether you need the volume on your iPhone alarm clock to be super loud in
order to actually wake you up or really low so that you don’t wake everyone
else in the house, you can easily tweak it. Here’s how to adjust the volume of
your alarm clock on your iPhone.

The alarm clock volume setting isn’t in the iOS Clock app, as you might think.
Here’s how to increase or decrease the alarm sound on iPhone or iPad:
1: Open the Settings app.
2: Select Sounds & Haptics.
3: Move the slider under Ringer and Alerts to change the alarm volume.
Remember, as per the feature’s name, this will also affect the volume level of
your iPhone ringtone, notification, and other alerts.

If you want to be able to change the volume for the alarm clock with the volume
buttons on the side of your phone, you can do this too. Just enable the slider
for Change with Buttons in that same Ringer and Alerts section.
