Table top mode is just like a perkins without the space bar in the
middle. So dot 3 will be closest to the ear peace speaker and dot 6 will
be closest to the bottom of the screen where the charger goes. But your
finger positioning will be the same as it would be with a Perkins. The
phone will either sit on your lap or a surface in front of you. Screen
away mode is better for holding the phone in your hands. In screen away
mode the back of the phone is facing your chest long ways where the ear
peace is on the left and the bottom of the screen on your right. You use
your thumbs and pinkies to hold the phone and part of your palm would be
up against the bottom speaker on your right hand the your left palm
would be resting on the top of the phone nearest the ear peace. Then
you're working with the width of the phone to position your six fingers
to type the dots. Dot 1 would be near the mute switch and going across
would be dots 2 and 3. And you'll do the same with your right hand
coming from the bottom of the phone which will make dots 4,5,6. This
method takes a little practice to get used to because it is definitely
different from what you're used to. However it's the fastest for me and
definitely more comfortable. You might find that table top mode can help
you get used to the concept of typing Braille on a touch screen and then
graduate to screen away mode like I did. It all comes much easier once
you get used to the concept of what you're doing. But if you give it a
fair amount of time, you'll be typing like a pro in no time. It took me
about a month because I tried it and didn't like it at first. But when I
decided I was going to learn it, I picked it up in about 15 minutes.

Thanks much for such a nice explanation! Let me ask for my own
clarification:
Is table top mode the position where I hold the width of the phone
rather than its length with earpiece upward?
/Thanks!

Hi,
First, table top mode and away mode.
Table Top mode is where you lay the phone flat on a surface and the
dots are like a perkins brailler. So on the left side, you would
have dots 1, 2, and 3, going from center to left. And on the right
side, you would have dots 4, 5, and 6, again, going from center to right.
Away Mode, is where you hold the phone with the screen away from you
with the charging port on the right. With this mode, the dots are in
two columns. On the left, you would have dots 1, 2, and 3, going
from top to bottom, so the dots are on top of each other in a column.
And on the right, you would have dots 4, 5, and 6, again, going from
top to bottom.
Now the reason the dots are changing positions on you is because it
is switching from table top mode and away mode depending on the
position of your phone.
there is a gesture where you can lock it in whichever mode you want
to do.
So put it in the mode you want; table top or away, then do a three
finger swipe down on the screen. This would be from your mute switch
side to the side with your side button. It should say, orientation
locked. This is a toggle gesture, so you would do the same gesture
to unlock the orientation.
I would recommend taking a look at the list of gestures for Braille
Screen Input. Go to settings / Accessibility / Voiceover / Commands,
then swipe to Braille Screen Input, and in there you will find all of
the gestures to use with the BSI keyboard.
Hope this helps answer your questions.

What the difrences between both modes Table mode and Screen away modes?
And sometimes the dots changes both of 2 eadges on the screen and
sometimes they in the meedle on the screen.
Why it's happends? and how can I write in BSI without to moove my
fingers all the times?
and in eddition why the dots changes position on the screen?
