I don't know about the US, but here in Canada internet via a cellular modem/smart hub or whatever they call it is rather expensive and often has low data caps. As I said, this may be different in the US, but I would definitely check if there is no other option for home internet even if it were just plain old ADSL via a copper line if cable or fiber is not available.
