Hi,

Here are a couple of suggestions to get them started.
The accessibility programming guide for iOS:
http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#documentation/UserExperience/Concept
ual/iPhoneAccessibility/Making_Application_Accessible/Making_Application_Acc
essible.html

Also Matt Gemmell's article:
http://mattgemmell.com/2010/12/19/accessibility-for-iphone-and-ipad-apps/

There is also a video demonstrating how to create accessible iPhone apps on
iTunes You, but I can't remember what its called right now. I am sure a
search of iTunes You will turn it up, quite easily.

Hope this helps,
Brett.

I don't think they were very aware of access issues, until I contacted them,
so no, they haven't contacted any VI groups. as I think I may have
mentioned, now that they have been made aware, and are interested, I think
they genuinely don't know where to start, which is why I decided to send my
original message out, to give them that information, as they are interested,
and did get back to me.

Simon

Have the developers approach some of the consumer groups from the blindness
community. Also, have them consider Kickstarter. The draw of making things
accessible for blind people may be enough to loosen some wallets.--Joe

Hi,

I usually direct people to the developer section of AppleVis, at
